Vista Redonda Residence

Tesuque, New Mexico

This property is perched atop a mesa overlooking northern New Mexico and the nearby Sangre de Cristo mountains. The house was designed in such a way as to see both views simultaneously. The two rotated grids of the house visible in plan are a response to the two different views.

The home is designed with two bedrooms and two and a half baths and a large, deep portal for watching sunsets. It is constructed of wood frame and finished with hand troweled plaster interiors.
